The 2023/2024 academic year in Ghana is set soon to begin.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) under the auspices of the Ministry of Education (MoE) has announced re-opening dates for schools in Ghana.
The new release has re-opening dates info for Basic Schools, JHS and SHS students
Informing students, staff, parents and the general public, the Ghana Education Service (GES) noted that due to the Statutory Holiday on Monday, 9th January 2023, Senior High Schools are expected to reopen on Tuesday, 10th January 2023
Adding to the above, GES entreated Heads of Basic schools to note that the reopening date for primary and Junior High schools remains 10th January 2023.

Second Cycle Schools (SHS)
SHS 3: Tuesday, 10th January 2023
SHS 2: Tuesday, 10th January 2023
SHS 1: Tuesday, 10th January 2023
Basic Schools (KG, Primary and JHS)
KG 1 and 2: Tuesday, 10th January 2023
Primary 1 to 6: Tuesday, 10th January 2023
JHS: 1 to 3: Tuesday, 10th January 2023
